After the façade refurbishment of a Jugendstil villa in Imbach – Hofstatt it appears like waking up a sleeping beauty. After restoration of the plaster by a construction firm Maler Schmied Krems carried out the two-coloured coating with silicone resin paint. The result tells its own tale.

Uncertain energy-price trends, climate protection or maintaining the value of a building are the main arguments for thermical building renovation. One of the crucial points are external thermal insulation of the façade. At new-building external thermal insulation has become state-of-the-art for years.
